Amankila Manggis
Expect total luxury and high standard personal service at this classy resort in Manggis, located just outside Candidasa.

Their beautiful Balinese styled rooms, gorgeous three tiered pool, colorful garden, delicious food and incredible views will make you wish you can stay forever. The staff will make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay and they can also organize wonderful day trips around the island. (US$930-1125 per night)

The Alila resort:
This resort isn't located in Candi dasa but just a few kilometers away in a village called Manggis. It belongs to the Designer Hotels and it's easy to see why with the immaculate tropical scenery and the award winning SeaSalt restaurant.

If you're looking for a lazy holiday with extremely good service, this is the place to be. (US$116-140 per night)

Nirwana Resort and Spa Bali
This Bali accomodation is ideal if you are looking for tranquility. It's about a 20 minute walk from the village center and therefore guarantees a quiet surrounding for total relaxation.

This resort has only 18 Balinese styled bungalows with either garden view or ocean view. A nice feature is their main pool which is located just off the beach and has stunning views over the ocean. (US$130-175 per night)

Ashyana Candidasa:
This bungalow-style Bali accomodation offers a quiet place to relax either at their pool or on the garden view terrace. The rooms have modern facilities with a fan or AC.

On their premises you can find their pool with direct view of the ocean. The popular restaurant Le Zat serves exceptionally delicious food right at the seafront. Formerly known as Fajar hotel Ashyana is perfectly located near shops, restaurants and supermarket. (US$66 -US$120 per night)

The Alam Asmara Candidasa Resort
is a fantastic mid-range option at the waterfront with value for money deluxe bungalows set among tropical flowers and fish ponds. There aren't many rooms so it is always very quiet here.

Their Rendez-Vous restaurant serves delicious food, smoothies and cocktails. Besides their great pool you have easy access to the ocean for some swimming as well. This hotel arrange diving trips too. (US$56 per night)

Le 48 Zen & Happy Rezort
This resort is located in the center of Candidasa, right next to the big lagoon. Compared with other Bali accomodation in town Le 48 Zen looks very modern. They only have 5 rooms which are spacious, have an in - and outdoor shower and are fashionably furnished

At their pool you can find comfortable daybeds where you can easily spend the whole day relaxing away. Don't forget to try their restaurant that serves excellent food. (US$69-US$90 per night)

D'tunjung Resort & Spa:
Located under the palm trees and along the ocean this pretty hotel is the ideal get-away. Their eye-catching pool and terraces with ocean view is the perfect spot to spend a couple of hours a day.

Their charming bungalows have high ceilings while the walls have a sup rising green color. The wooden furniture is well chosen and the semi-open bathroom adds to the tropical feeling... (US$59-US$115 per night)

Rama Shinta Hotel Candidasa:
This Bali accomodation is located right at the Candidasa lagoon, so you'll have easy access to many restaurants and upcoming shops.

The beach is also around the corner but as you may know Candidasa doesn't have the best beaches so it would be better to head to Bias Tugal or Pasir Putih. Nevertheless this hotel has clean and spacious rooms and is ideal as a starting point for day trips around Candidasa. (US$53-US$75 per night)

Sea Breeze Candidasa
This small-scale Bali accomodation is located just outside Candidasa making it a quiet place to stay. All bungalow styled rooms have great views of the ocean and from their gorgeous swimming pool or small strip of beach you can admire the tropical setting.

The nicely decorated rooms are fit for 2 to 4 people and have a spacious terrace. Try to book yourself one of the suites or the villa. (US$90-US$175 per night)

Puri Bagus Resort:
This Bali accomodation was one of the first tourist resorts in this little town and is still a surprisingly good mid-range alternative with its ocean view and garden view bungalows.

Their pool is great and there's also an area designed for kids so ideal when you travel with the entire family.

There is also a spa, a dive school with lessons in the pool and gazebos at the waterfront. (US$61-77 per night)

Ida's homestay:
This homestay is the best budget Bali accomodation that we've seen near the beach until now.

The only drawback is that it's located on the busy main road through Candi dasa. Nonetheless this homestay is covered with huge palm trees and you have fantastic views on the sea and the local fishermen from their pavilion. (US$15 per night per night (single bungalow for 2) or US$27 per night (double level)
