The right Bali beach resort is critical for any Bali holiday at the beach. At almost every beach in Bali there is a resort with its own character, size and number of stars.
There are beach resorts that have the typical traditional structure with Balinese wooden doors, ornaments in window frames and gates. But the contemporary style has had a lot of influence too and today you can find many resorts with a refreshing and modern look.
So which Bali beach resort you choose depends mostly on what style you prefer and of course at which beach you want to spend your holiday.
Here is a list of Bali beach resorts with direct access to the beach that we can highly recommend:
Kuta beach is probably the most visited of all Bali beaches. Surprisingly though there are no beach resorts located right at the beach. Instead you need to cross a road to reach it. Therefore we have not added them to the Bali beach resort list. For Kuta accommodation go to our selection of Bali accommodations.
Tuban on the other hand has a number of great resorts directly located at a nice stretch of beach. There is perfect swimming water once the water has settled down and a paved walk way takes you from Tuban Beach straight to Kuta beach.
