Highlights on our Bali Maps

Here you can find one of the best Bali Maps (if I may say) around with most of the island's highlights worth visiting if you get the chance. I recommend to zoom in as much as possible because then you will get optimal results while preparing for your new Bali adventure.

We have been to every corner of the island and have mapped out those places that are of real interest (at least that's what we think ;-)

Here you can find the major sights but also the lesser known sights, things to do in Bali and great places and hotels to spend a couple of days.

It's very easy to travel in Bali since the Balinese are very friendly people and will always try to help find your way. Even on your own or being a woman the Balinese will treat you with respect and politely help you with your directions.

Don't be surprised when they ask you to follow them on their motor bike or when they walk all the way with you just to be sure you have arrived at the right spot.

This has happened to us several times so even without one of the most detailed Bali maps you will do just fine.

Nonetheless being a tropical island with steep ravines, rivers, mountain ranges and jungle it makes good sense to use the above map we made anyway.

It will save you time and a bit of a hassle since most villages in Bali are poorly signposted. Plus you don't have to get out of your car or off your motorbike and ask around at every intersection.

Luckily most roads in Bali are well paved but there are also dirt roads where the hole in the road is actually the road and this can continue for miles on end.

Most of our favorite routes on this map of Bali are very do-able and occasionally it will lead you on a dirt road but don't worry it doesn't last for miles.
