Conrad Bali Resort and Spa
The Conrad Bali Resort and Spa is located on Jalan Pratama Raya in Tanjung Benoa, north of Nusa Dua Beach.
Upon arrival at the airport you will immediately be greeted with the wonderful service of Conrad.
Conrad's driver will pick you up and provide you with fresh towels, bottled water and some face wipes to make the the 20 minutes drive to the resort more comfortable.
The entran ce of the Conrad Bali Resort and Spa will give you the first impression of this modern-styled resort.
It's impressive with a the waterfall on the left side and the contemporary design of the buildings supported by the tropical plants and flowers Bali is so famous for.
The staff pretty much blends in with the whole design of the resort.
They look very smart in their stylish beige/white uniform, luckily no base-ball caps here...;-)
Reception is orderly and the welcome drink is brought out to you in the big and classy lobby or verandah overlooking the stunning swimming pool and the Indian Ocean.
Throughout the Conrad Bali Resort and Spa you see staff smiling at you, whether it's the gardener or Balinese masseurs. They all seem to have a good time too.
The resort consists of three hotel guest wings, the spa center, shops, conference center and a eye-catching wedding chapel in 6.8 hectares of lush green gardens with tropical flowers, manicured lawns, palm trees, waterfalls and impressive swimming- and lagoon shaped pools.

The Conrad Bali Resort and Spa has 494 hotel guest rooms and suites with comfortable beds, remote controlled AC, ceiling fans, satellite TV, broadband Internet (not free though), telephone with voicemail and other luxury amenities you expect from a 5-star resort.
Just like the rest of the resort all guest rooms are decorated with designs and features from the other Indonesian islands. The spacious bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs and a separate shower stall.
The guest rooms are divided into Deluxe Ocean King, Deluxe Ocean Twin, Deluxe Ocean Front and the Presidential Suite.

There are also some guest rooms especially built for physically challenged guests and the resort provides wheelchairs upon request. Moreover you can get anywhere within the resort as footpaths are properly designed.
When you book yourself one of the more expensive rooms you'll be part of the Club lounge which comes with extra privacy and extra services such as complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee service, wines and cocktails everyday of your stay.
To stay in shape the Conrad hotel Bali has several tennis courts, a fitness center with free weights and cardio equipment, yoga, jogging track, several water sports and not to forget the stunning swimming pools: the Main pool and the Lagoon pool.
In front of the resort is a foot path that continues for miles on end along the beach, the ideal track for some jogging or when you feel like going for a morning walk.
 
At the beach and along the pool you can also find 14 beach bales (balinese pavilions) in which you can relax from the heat of the sun with a good book or from where you can watch all the action on the water.
Tanjung Benoa is famous for its water sports such as para-sailing, jet-skiing, banana boat, water skiing, bali cruises to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan where you can do some excellent snorkeling and diving.

After all these activities you might get hungry so you can head to the Suku restaurant with up to 228 seats, the ideal place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The Eight Degrees South is located straight on the beach and offers BBQ cuisine, salads, Asian specialties, salads, sandwiches and even pizza. It's open for lunch and dinner.
Spice Restaurant (96 seats) is open for dinner only and offers ethnic cuisine with indoor and outdoor seating and includes spectacular views on the Indian Ocean.
Azure opens from 10am-6pm and is the bar next to the lagoon pool which serves exotic cocktails and cold beers.
East restaurant (108 seats) is the place for some nightly entertainment and with views on the beach and the lagoon.

The Conrad Bali Resort and Spa is a great place for meetings and events of any kind. They have several conference rooms and one huge ballroom with 531 sq m/5,723sq feet, which can be divided into two rooms.
From all of the resorts I have visited in Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa, the Conrad Bali Resort is without doubt the ultimate venue for a wedding. You can have it in their massive garden, on the beach or in their own bright white wedding chapel.
The wedding chapel is one of a kind with gorgeous ocean vistas and a huge enough garden for the ceremony. I've been to the Ritz Carlton in Jimbaran as well but the Conrad chapel really exceeds expectations...
There's a professional wedding planner who can assist you with all the preparations, the legal and religious ceremony and the reception.

As expected the resort also provides ample opportunity to relax and to feel totally rejuvenated at their spa.
The Conrad Bali Resort has a spa called Jiwa Spa and offers 12 exclusive spa rooms, 2 spa villas and includes a jacuzzi, sauna, beauty salon where you can have any treatment you can think of.
Besides all these goodies there's a 25-meter spa pool where you can relax before or after you treatments.

To conclude all I can say is that the Conrad Bali Resort and Spa has got it right with their impeccable service, stylish facilities and gorgeous swimming pools.
It's the ideal place for people who want to say 'I do' in a wedding chapel right at the beach followed by a romantic honeymoon in style. Couples who are planning a holiday for two will of course also enjoy themselves at this modern designed hotel.
I'm also very positive about the facilities for the physically challenged travelers. Conrad is definitely one of a few who have placed extra care in ensuring that everybody can enjoy their grand resort to the fullest.
