At the Grand Hyatt Bali you can find everything you want...

Before I even start to describe the Grand Hyatt Bali in Nusa Dua I really need to mention that it is amazingly huge.

I can imagine that when you have just arrived at the resort you might get lost a couple of times. Luckily there is enough helpfull staff and directories to find your way back again...

I don’t even know where to start to describe the many facilities that the Grand Hyatt has to offer.

 It seems like it is built to provide everything their guests need so they do not have to leave the gate until check-out.

Besides the facilities a resort usually provides the Bali Hyatt also has a shopping arcade called the Senggol market, many places to drink and eat, a spa that is a resort in itself, a special wedding ceremony pavilion overlooking the sea and even their own Balinese temple.

Together with long private white-sandy beach at the Bali Hyatt Resort I can guarantee you that you will not be bored at all...

The Grand Hyatt Bali has just undergone a big refurbishment ensuring that the interior design and facilities meet the luxury standards of today and stands out from the many other Nusa Dua hotels.

The main lobby and its lounge has been re-decorated to highlight the beauty of Bali architecture and design.

The furniture blends in perfectly with the open setting and its no wonder that many people just seem to sit there and enjoy the breeze coming straight into the area.

It's nice to see that the hotel has not used the same type of furniture throughout the lobby area. Different styles are incorporated in this section of the resort.

From the lobby you have breathtaking vistas on the tropical garden and the Indian Ocean sea since it's located higher up which makes it a wonderful spot to relax.

The Grand Hyatt Bali  in Nusa Dua has 648 rooms set in a beautiful garden and up to 1000 employees to ensure you have an unforgettable stay.

The choice of rooms are Grand King, Grand Twin, the Ocean View King and the Ocean View Twin.

Breakfast is included and depending on the location of the room in the resort premises, it is served in different outlets such as the Garden cafe, Salsa verde and the Watercourt Restaurant.

This enables a less crowded situation where you can enjoy a good start of a beautiful new day.

For Club members there is a choice of other rooms and a specially designated outlet for breakfast.

The Club rooms are also located in a different section of the Grand Hyatt Bali resort and there are seperate pools for members only.

Just like the other rooms there is a choice of Club twin, Club King, Club Ocean view King and Club Ocean view Twin.

The two biggest pools of the Grand Hyatt Bali are located near the beach. Around the lagoon pool there is enough space to do some serious sunbathing but the surrounding trees provide cool shading as well.

The river pool on another hand is ideal for swimming or just wading as it runs throughout the pool area. A fun and refreshing way to explore the pool premises.

From the pool you have straight access to the magnificent beach of the Grand Hyatt Bali.

Just like the hotel, it is big so you have plenty of space to yourself. The beach and ocean water at Nusa Dua is famous because of its soft sand, azur coloured water and cleaniness.

This is definitely a beach where you would want to spend most of your days in the tropics...

Besides lazing about at the pool or on the beach there are also enough activities that will have your blood flowing again.

The Watersports counter can arrange all the watersports you would like to try out. If you are considering some diving then there are even diving demonstrations at the pool too.

Children (3-13years) will have a blast at the Camp Hyatt where they oraganise all kind of fun activities such as fish feeding, games, Balinese arts and crafts.

There is even a babysitting service so if you are planning a romantic dinner by candle light or you want to enjoy a day at the spa you don't need to worry about your children being bored during their holiday.

Speaking of the spa...

The Kriya spa is definitely a must to visit. The spa is just operational for a year but has received many awards already.

The "Spa Interior of The Year" award from Asia Spa magazine is just one of them. It is beautifully set with the emphasis on flowing water.

Besides the design, the interior has been carefully chosen for one purpose: total comfort and relaxation.

There are two main Bales where in the first you can arrange the spa treatment that suits you best and the second bale is created as a relaxation area where you can enjoy herbal tea after the your wonderful spa treatment. 

Spa treatments are given in 24 seperate spa villas by professional therapists who have been trained by the hotel-spa to maintain a high level of standards.

You can choose from a number of massage treatments, facial/skin treatments and body treatment. All treatments are aimed at creating a sense of harmony, energy, purity or bliss. 

Massage treatments range from traditional Balinese to yoga massages, while the focus of body treatments lies in pampering the skin with various types of scrubs, mask and oils of which some include a specific massage to enhance its effect.

You can also choose from a long list of hydro soak therapies that aim at relaxing the body, enhancing the digestion and giving a boost to the immune system and blood circulation.

For the ultimate treatment at this luxurious spa complex you should experience the day spa packages.

These packages consist of several treatments accompanied with light, macrobiotic, wholesome fruit and vegetables. The day spa can last from 2 hours till 4,5 hours.

I won't be surprised if you 'need' more than one day spa during your stay at the Grand Hyatt Bali ;-)

Of course, with all the activities in and around the Grand Hyatt Bali resort you can get a bit hungry.

Well no worries here, the 4 restaurants and 3 lounges at Bali Hyatt are very diverse so you will find your favorite place soon enough.

You can either dine at the Garden Cafe where traditional Asian and European food is served.

For authentic Italians you should walk over to the Salsa Verde, set along the pool with view on the beach. After dinner you can climb up the stairs and enjoy cocktails at the Club Salsa.

For a real Japanese experience you can dine at the Nampu restaurant that for instance serve Tepanyaki and also has Tatami rooms when you want to dine in total privacy.

And last but not least, the Balinese dining experience can be found at the Pasar Senggol. The food is served in different stalls so you can just walk over and try any dish you like.

Great for discovering the rich Balinese cuisine. During your dinner you will be entertained with a cultural performance to make the Bali experience complete.

After dinner you can either go to the Sala Bar or head to the Lobby lounge which is open the whole day.

As mentioned in the beginning earlier, it's really a wonderful lounge and is decorated with a mixture of comfortable lounge and contemporary Balinese chairs.

The poolside bar is open during the day and is located at the beachfront. It serves food from the restaurant Salsa Verde so for lunch you can enjoy delicious Italians sandwiches and of course a oven-baked pizza...

Grand Bali Hyatt has left a great impression on me and I was really surprised of all the facilities it has to offer.

It's actually a little village where you can find anything you want to make your stay even more comfortable.

It is a perfect resort for families with children who want to spend their days at the pool or beach while still having many choices of children activities organized by the rosort.

Grand Hyatt Bali is also great for couples who are looking for a relaxing holiday, a lot of pampering at the spa and great cuisine.

Like I said, the resort is so big it can offer so many things that it is attractive for various groups of travellers.
