book now

The Hotel Nikko Bali is located outside the premises of Nusa Dua and can be found in the southern part of Nusa Dua Beach.

The construction of the 5 star diamond luxury resort is spectacular.

It is built on a 40m cliff facing the gorgeous blue azure Ocean.

The impressive hotel complex is just incredible to see. Once you enter the lobby you will immediately be greeted with the ocean view that characterizes the whole resort.

The pink flowers, the fountains and the white hotel building against the dark blue ocean is just an incredible sight.

In the lobby it's a hive of people arriving and leaving, guests inquiring for tours at the information desks or others enjoying their coffee or refreshing drink at the Khayangan lobby lounge.

It immediately feels like you have arrived at a place where everybody is just there for one main thing... enjoying their stay at this grand hotel.

Hotel Nikko Bali is a great place for any type of traveller, whether you are travelling as a couple, with family, with children or with a groups of friends.

It has enough facilities and activities to entertain anybody.

Do note though that the resort is located about 3km south of the Nusa Dua area where you can find the other resorts.

You are dependent on transportation or the free shuttle service to the Bali Collection if you want to go out.

However the Hotel Nikko Bali has provided all the aminities to ensure that you will find everything you need.

Once you enter the corridors to the rooms you will find yourself in an area of total silence. The rooms are located in three sections of the hotel: the North Wing, West Wing and the Cliff tower.

At the Hotel Nikko Bali there are 10 types of rooms on more than 10 floors.

You can choose from the following rooms: ocean view, garden view, pool beach front, deluxe beach front, pool access, nikko suites, royal suites and a presidential suite.

Each room has their own private balcony and all the facilities that you can expect of a luxurious resort, such as minibar, satelitte TV, coffee/tea making facilitiy etc.

To reach the beach or pool you have to cross the bridge which connects the main building with the Cliff Tower. From there it's a 14 floor lift ride down.

From the lift you will be given a magnificent preview of what to expect, as there is a small window in the lift facing the pool, beach and ocean.

Once you step out of the elevator you will immediately enter the pool area. Considering the hotel has 386 rooms you might think that the pool will be crowded.

But on the contrary, the pool is so big it even has parts where you will feel like you have the pool all to yourself!

There is a beach pool area, where you can actually find sand on one the sides of the pool. There is an abundance of sand and I even saw children build a sand castle right next to the pool.

The beach pool, kids favorite

The pool flows further to 3 other sections where it is more quiet. If you are there, you will definitely be able to find your favorite place at the pool.

I can imagine that people can spend the whole day just enjoying it...

Peace and quiet here...

From the pool you will enter the soft sanded beach. This is one of the best hotel beaches I have seen up till now in the Nusa Dua area.

It has great beach chairs, clean, clean sand and most of all it is very quiet. The sea also looks tempting to run in for a great swim in the warm tropical water.

But before you head off, check with the staff first about the currents. They can be tricky...

If you feel like walking along the beach, you might bumb into some camels after a while. Camels?!? Yes, everything is possible these days...

The camels belong to the Bali Camel Safaris and if you want you can hop on one of them and continue your stroll along the beach, pass temples and see more of the Balinese culture.

Do try to avoid doing outdoor activities on the middle of the day.

Hotel Nikko Bali is located in one of the driest parts of Bali where it can get sizzling hot if you don't sit by the pool in the shade...

Beside the many quiet areas on the large hotel premisis which is ideal for adults and couples looking for relaxation on their holiday, children can enjoy themselves easily...

Nikko hotel Bali has really great activities at the Jungle Camp that can entertain your child from 8.00am till 10.00pm in the evening.

Here trained 'Adventure Guides' will keep an eye on your child while he/she plays in the tree houses, enjoys the rock climbing facilities, trampolines etc.

On top of that he/she can join cool activites specially designed for children from 4 till 7 years old and 8 till 12 years old which are organized every hour of the day.

I wonder when you will see your child during the day when staying at the Nikko Hotel...

However while your child enjoys herself or whenever you feel like it you can reserve some hours of relaxation for yourself at the Mandera spa.

Their spa villas are located at the beachfront of the Nikko Bali resort and offer a wide range of body and face treatments.

If you want to experience ultimate pampering and luxury then you should check out their packages that will relax you from head till toe.

Other facilities that the Hotel Nikko Bali offers, are of course the restaurants. As expected for a large resort like this, there are many to choose from.

Four restaurants, three bars and even a amphitheater are found on the premises just to ensure that you'll have a great Balinese cultural dining experience.

Eat under the palmtrees...

You can enjoy Japanese, Chinese, Balinese and Western food in all kinds of different settings.

If you feel like having a view on the ocean you'll just have to head off to the Tao Li or The Shore restaurant.

But if your prefer sushi, sashimi or terrific lobster head downstairs to the Benkay restaurant.

After visiting the Hotel Nikko Bali in Nusa Dua it is actually impossible to describe all the things you can do and see at this grand resort.

There is just to much things to list to get a good a clear picture.

All that I have left to say is when you are there climb up the stairs in the Cliff Tower where you can reach a look out point that has breathtaking views of the ocean and a full shot of the massive place in which you will be spending your holiday in luxury.

Pros: great pool area, views, free shuttle service to Bali Collection

Cons: extra charge kid's club and internet, massive resort so no personal/warm service, location in Nusa Dua
