Lovina Bali Resorts, our favourites...

There are a many Lovina Bali Resorts along the Jalan Raya Lovina starting at Tukad Mungga in the east all the way to Temukus in the west.

Just like in Kuta the whole area lacks planning from the government and those villagers with a little bit of money start their own hotel.

Some listen to their customers and know exactly what their expectations are during a holiday, others just build a hotel and then hope to be lucky.

In general staying in any of the Lovina Bali resorts is far cheaper than the other beach villages in the south of Bali, even the high quality ones.

I have listed here a couple of characterful resorts that I think are worth staying at when you have a couple of days left in Lovina beach...

Damai Villas:
This top-end Lovina Bali resort is really a fantastic place to spend a couple of days on your travels through the island.

It’s an idyllic place, quiet and peaceful and has the best vistas in Lovina beach. Fortunately is so remote that the pushy Lovina vendors will not bother you with dolphin tours or souvenirs...

This Bali beach resort is a good and cheap mid-range hotel.

It's a perfect place to spend a couple of days for dolphin watching, snorkeling or just lazing at the pool...

The Aditya is a cheap Lovina Bali hotel right on the beach.

It's the perfect place for those who love to laze around the pool, stroll along the beach and watch one of Lovina’s beautiful sunsets...

Bali Paradise Hotel
This quiet and secluded Lovina Bali hotel has some excellent views on rice fields, mountains and the ocean. Rooms, bathrooms and balconies are huge.

Takes around 15-20 minutes to Kalibukbuk with all its shops and restaurants.

Rambutan Boutique Hotel Bali
is a family-run hotel and also ideal for travellers with kids. It has some great pools and immaculate gardens. Location is perfect in the center of Kalibukbuk and only 2 minutes from the beach. There are several types of rooms you can choose from.

Frangipani Beach Villas Bali:
This classy boutique hotel offers a wonderful place to stay right on Lovina beach.

There are only 8 rooms: 4 VIP rooms, 1 Suite for 4 to 5 people and 3 Rooms for 2 to 3 people. The spacious rooms with semi open bathroom are all unique while some have view on the ricefields or mountains. There is a big swimming pool and enough sun loungers. Adirama Beach Hotel Bali
is a Dutch owned and managed hotel with a warm and lovely atmosphere right on the beach. There's free WiFi throughout the hotel grounds and we highly recommend the sea view suites. The eating area is located at the right spot, right at the beach with cool winds and with great views.

Nugraha Lovina Seaview Resort Bali
is located on the outskirts of Lovina and it takes around 5-10 minute drive to Kalibukbuk center. This hotel is value for money with proper rooms and we recommend the garden view rooms which also happen to have sea view ;-). The resort has a big pool with sun loungers and great staff. Defnitely value for money...

Puri Mangga Sea View Resort & Spa Bali:
This well maintained and German run resort is up in the hills and has some great views on the coast below. Their bungalows are spacious and even have an outdoor shower. There's a free shuttle bus service to Kalibukbuk center. Their menu is limited so that they can shop for you and prepare it fresh on the spot...

Even though Lovina Bali is already a very quiet spot for those travellers who love even more tranquillity and peace Pemuteran village is the place to be.

This small fishing village is only 20/30-minutes from Lovina and also has some excellent hotels & resort to choose from...

Budget hotels in Lovina Bali

It’s easy to get yourself one of those cheap Bali holidays in one of the budget hotels in Lovina beach.

There seem to be more guesthouses, backpackers and hostels then residential houses.

Lovina beach has always been a very quiet town compared to Sanur or Kuta beach and after the bombing of the Kuta nightclubs in 2002, it became even quieter.

his has had a huge impact on the economy and the quality of the cheap hotels in Lovina beach.

Some haven’t seen maintenance or renovation for years while others have a healthy stream of customers throughout the year.
