at the Melia Bali Villas Spa Resort

The Melia Garden Villas are located within the premises of the Melia Bali Villas Spa Resort in Nusa Dua Beach.

So guests who stay at the villas can use the many facilities provided by the resort plus they can enjoy the beautiful garden and the tropical white sandy beach.

If you are staying at the Melia Bali Villas you are able to use the private driveway and separate check-in. However if you feel like exploring around the resort premises, it is worth a stroll to the main lobby. 

Once at the lobby you should look up as the ceiling is covered with a colorful painting picturing Bali religious life.

But what I think is the most striking of the Melia Bali resort is the garden. Many hotels in Nusa Dua Bali have beautiful gardens around their buildings but this one is exceptional...

Here 70% of the Melia Bali resort premises is covered with an extremely lush green tropical garden with various kinds of tall trees, flowers, little paths, Balinese statues and water ponds.

And as you expect for a tropical setting: palm trees in abundance.
 
It's very clear that the 70 gardeners at Melia put a lot of effort in maintaining such a garden with beautiful details.

The trees also provide natural shade along the walking paths, near the pools and at the beach. Umbrellas are hardly necessary because of the shade created by the trees and the cool breeze coming from the sea.

Besides the tropical garden at Melia Bali hotel, the beach and the sea are also a wonderful sight.  It is one of the best pieces of beach at Nusa Dua. 

It's a private beach which makes it very quiet compared to other public beaches where hawkers are able to pass by.

The dark blue water is ideal for swimming as there are hardly any waves throughout the day.

 

With its own piece of beach, Melia is a real Bali beach resort...

 

Besides the regular beach chairs under the trees, there are also romantic gazebos that provide a comfortable way to spend your day.

Right at the beach you can also find the Melia Villa complex. It's pretty difficult to spot because all villas are surrounded by walls decorated with tropical plants which create an atmosphere of total privacy.

Besides the private pool at each villa, you can also enjoy the public pool that is for villa guests only. Even though it's a public pool, it is still very quiet. Especially if you compare it with the public pool in the resort area...

It's a beautiful lagoon-like pool set perfectly between palm trees and colourful flowers.

 

The Melia Bali Resort has 10 private villas. The interior and architectural design of every villa is the same, only the number of rooms, pool size and view differs.

There is a choice of 1 bedroom garden villas, 1 bedroom oceanfront villa and the presidential ocean front villa which has two king size bed rooms.

Once you pass the Balinese wooden doors of the villa, you will feel like you have entered a whole new secluded place. 

The Melia Villas with the natural alang-alang (dried grass) roofs are beautifully set in a lush tropical garden and the dark turquoise pool is just a splendid sight as well.

It won't be difficult to enjoy your days in paradise while sunbathing in the extra large sun loungers all day long...

 

The interior of the villas is spaciously decorated with marble floors, classic styled furniture made out of teak wood and a romantic draped bed.

An extraordinary service of the Melia Bali Villas is that you can actually choose from a menu of bedlinen and pillows. Additionally chocolates and fruit is left at the bed everyday.

That's what I call falling asleep like royalty ;-)

Besides the flat screen TV and private telephone line, there is also a speaker on which you can connect your iPod. Additionally there is the wireless Internet service.

To get connected simply get a voucher at the reception and you'll immediately have Internet access in the villa and throughout the resort. 

 

From the romantic bedroom you can walk straight into the his and hers dressing area where the Melia Bali Villas provide his and hers sun hats, bathrobes, slippers, bags and sarongs.

Just like the bedrooms, the bathroom is romanticly decorated with all the small details that just makes the setting more than perfect.

Besides the sunken bathtub and the separate shower, you can also enjoy a shower in the open air. The shower is set between Balinese statues to remind you that you are still in Bali.

Don't forget to look up at the sky and palm trees when standing under the shower...

 

 

Just outside of the sleeping area there is a typical Balinese bale that can function as an outdoor dining room. Here you can spend the evening enjoying a romantic dinner together.

And if you don't feel like leaving the villa for breakfast, the 24 hour butler service can arrange for the breakfast to be brought to your villa.

You probably don't even want to set foot outside of your own private villa if you don't need to. But trust me, you should...

The Melia Bali Villas provides many extra facilities that are for villa guests only.

For instance there is a designated restaurant which serves American style buffet every morning and in the afternoon you can try the many complementary cakes with coffee or tea at the pool bar.

On top of that you can enjoy a patch of beach accessible to villa guests only.

Here luxurious gazebos await you right at the seashore. If you feel like it, you can also experience relaxing spa treatments right in the open air.

 

But if you want to discover the other different spa treatments then head to the Melia Bali Yhi Spa. This luxurious and modern spa offers all kinds of treatments that will make you loose track of time.

Besides the 10 private treatment rooms, there is a relaxation lounge, steam rooms and a male and female jacuzzi area.
