Mona Lisa Sanur is a classy restaurant located on Jalan Danau Tamblingan. When passing by you won't realize immediately that it's a pretty big restaurant with more tables set in a garden at the back.

Despite some Indonesian food on their menu, Mona Lisa Sanur offers mostly western dishes with starters such as Beef Carpaccio, Shrimp Avocado salad and Leek and Potato soup.
As a complimentary starter you even get a tasty Mona Lisa style Bruschetta.
So if you are looking for a nice restaurant in Sanur where you can enjoy Western food in a tropical setting and Balinese service then Mona Lisa must be added to your list.

Being at a fishing village I decided to order the Seafood Plate with chunky potato wedges on the side. My girlfriend ordered the grilled Snapper a la Monalisa with creamy Balsamic sauce and Gado Gado (steamed vegetables) on the side.
Both dishes were beautifully served and just delicious.

Other dishes on the menu are Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Fillet Medaillions a la Monalisa and three types of spaghetti.
The Mona Lisa Sanur specialty is a Swiss dish of pan fried veal or pork in creamy white wine sauce. Probably worth coming back for too.

Mona Lisa Sanur Bali is a excellent choice if you are looking for nice restaurant for dinner. It's one of those places where you are tempted to order a three course menu, a glass of good wine and enjoy the food by candle light.
