Like many other restaurants in Amed Bali during the low season, Pazzo Restaurant Amed was deserted when we arrived. Just because of it's nice lighting and ambiance did we assume that it was open.

It's really a pity that there are not enough travellers all year round to enjoy this restaurant.
But despite low numbers of guests, Pazzo Restaurant and Bar has remained its high standards, something which is not easy to find.
The food is not only tasty, but the dishes look attractive as well. So the food here is not only a treat for your taste buds but for the eyes too!

I recommend the colorful salad as a starter
On the first page of the menu you can read that they serve an extensive range of International, Balinese and Indonesian food.
When you flip through the menu you immediately realize that they're not kidding. The menu is extensive...
As appetizers they serve little dishes such as guacamole, springrolls, onion rings and shrimp cocktails. While you can also choose to start your dinner with one of their 7 types of soups.

My girlfriend had a tempe and tofu satay feast!
As main dishes they have Pizzas, Pastas, Burgers and all kinds of fish, other seafood and chicken. Most of these dishes are cooked the Indonesian or Balinese way.
If you want to taste something Indonesian or Balinese but are not sure which one to choose, you can go for the delicious Nasi Campur. This is rice with a little bit of everything.

Very juicy pepes ikan at Pazzo. Yummy!
I tried my favorite dish: the Pepes Ikan. This dish is served almost everywhere in Bali, so I have my share everytime I'm here. Every chef has their own secret recipe, some are better than others.
But when you at visit Pazzo, then this is one of the places where you will not be disappointed with their Pepes Ikan.
The restaurant also offers the possibility to change a bit of the dishes in order to suit your taste even more.

The wonderful staff at Pazzo Restaurant
Besides the extensive range of dishes, the first page of the menu also says everything that the staff does is accompanied with that famous Balinese smile.
Well, we sure received their famous Balinese smiles...
The staff at Pazzo Restaurant were great. Eventhough it was so quiet they were enthousiastic and helpfull. We had a great time chatting with them about Amed.
Pazzo Restaurant and Bar use to have live music weekly. But when we were there there was nothing organized. Perhaps this will change as soon as the high season sets in.
