Peneeda View hotel, a excellent choice for a Bali holiday...

Peneeda View hotel is located on one of Sanur's main road: Jalan Danau Tamblingan.

The long driveway, leading you closer to the beach, will take you up to their beautiful Balinese styled reception with antique furniture.

 

Welcome to Peneeda View Beach Hotel Sanur

 

When we arrived at this Bali beach resort we passed a row of nice looking thatched roofed cottages. We said to each other that we should find out which hotel that is so we could check it out next time.

Surprisingly once we received a frangipangi flower necklace and our room key we were led to these cottages. The rooms are called 'Club Lumbung' and they are built a bit away from the main premises.

You can either have a room down or up stairs. Since the cottages are set in a row many guests walk pass to get to their room. So we liked the rooms on the first floor as the balcony creates more privacy.

The Peneeda View hotel premises is pretty big so once we chucked our bags in our rooms we went exploring. Passing the reception we immediately bumped into two swimming pools, one great for swimming laps while the other is perfect for children.

We then strolled down the main path to the beach accompanied by tropical plants, flowers and statues on both sides.

Here you'll find the other types of rooms at the Peneeda View Beach hotel. These are called the Family suites, the Villas and the Sea side bungalows.

We sneaked a peak at one of the family suites and found out that the interior is basically the same as the one at the Club Lumbung rooms but we think that the building and terrace of the family suites lacks character.

The Sea Side bungalows are a great option of you want more space and luxury. But since the rooms are located right at the second swimming pool it might get pretty busy in front during the high season.

So when choosing the Bali accomodation at Peneeda View Hotel we highly recommend going for the Club Lumbung rooms. Besides the nice building, the area in which the Club Lumung rooms are located is much more secluded.

The Peneeda View hotel stretches all the way up to Sanur beach. Their restaurant has unobstructed views over the ocean while there is also a sundeck with nice lounge chairs. Going down a view steps you find yourself on the beach and straight into the refreshing and quiet ocean.

Just next to the hotel you can find shops which rent kayaks, jet skis and other water sport equipment. There are also many jukung (traditional boat) owners who are happy to take you on a tour along Sanur's coast.

Breakfast is served at their restaurant located right at the beach. During our stay we woke up really early and enjoyed the fist signs of life as the sun slowly rose, fishermen waded into the water and the Balinese placed offerings.

A perfect place to start the day...

 

 

Peneeda View Hotel is really good mid-range hotel right at Sanur beach. Besides the option of walking straight on the beach you can also easily enjoy the many restaurants and shops located near the hotel.
