The Puri Santrian Sanur is located on the busy Jalan Cemara in the southern part of the village with a private driveway lined with palm trees that leads to the well-decorated Balinese gates of the resort.
The first thing that you notice is the green oasis of many tropical trees, flowers and statues around you.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with flowers on every statue and even in the ashtrays the staff has placed hibiscus flowers.
Right next the hotel lobby you will see a fierce looking dog statue with flowers behind its ears. Just passed this statue is a path leading to the Balinese styled bungalows.

The Puri Santrian Sanur is Balinese owned and operated and has 34 garden wing guestrooms, 67 beach wing guestrooms, 60 exclusive Santrian Club Suites and 21 bungalows where you can choose between one with an open bathroom or an indoor bathroom.
Even though the resort is located on a busy street the rooms are quiet, the only sound you hear are from tropical birds, dragon flies and a lawn mower in the far distance.

From the bungalows it’s just a short stroll to the stylish Beach Club restaurant and bar. The pavilion restaurant has an amazing view on the ocean where you can see Balinese fishermen busy collecting their catch.

This 2-level Beach Club restaurant has great looking swimming pools on both sides where Balinese statues guard the area with live music in the evening and dance performances on the open stage.
The swimming pools also have a gazebo on the end where you can have a well-deserved traditional massages, body scrubs, flower baths, foot reflexology and a lot more on the menu.

Next to the Spa there’s the Seawalker ticket booth where you can reserve your spot among the colorful tropical fish.

The Seawalker is a high-tech helmet with an air hose and let’s you walk on the sea bottom while feeding the fishes. The Seawalker station is just 50 m from the beach where experienced instructors help you climb down the stairs of the station.
Just near the Seawalker the hotel offers you a unique place to sit. Right on the water, 30 m from the shore there are two private gazebos which have comfortable seating for two. This is really a unique feature and definitely adds to the charm of the Puri Santrian Resort.

Furthermore it has put cozy canopy lounge chairs on the beach for you to relax all day but get there before 7 am otherwise they're taken by other territorial guests.
Across the Beach Club restaurant there’s a lounge bar where you can order your cocktails while enjoying the scenery and the activities on the water.
The public walk between the lounge bar and beach chairs stretches out for 5 km along the beach and is the best path for jogging, bicycling or just watching people.

All in all I think the Puri Santrian Sanur is a great place to spend your holidays.
It's on of the hotels in Sanur which are ideal for mature travellers and couples who don't need the hustle and bustle of Kuta but just like to relax at the beach, one of the three pools or at one of the many restaurants around the corner.
The average price per night for the Garden Wing room-Beach Wing room is around $85-95 USD excl. 21% tax, service and breakfast.

But I would recommend the Santrian Club, which is around $140 USD and comes with the extras such as American breakfast, daily fruit platter and free afternoon tea with snacks.
Since the Santrian Club is mainly focused on those travellers who are looking for privacy no kids are allowed into the Santrian Club.
