If you are craving for Italian food, then Ristorante Italia is
definitely the place to go. This Italian restaurant not only serves
authentic Italian dishes, but it is also perfectly located
with view on the ocean.
You can find the restaurant
under a large tree at Double
Six in Legian, right at the beach. The restaurant is
connected to Hotel Kumala Pantai and is open from early in the morning
till late in the evening...

Italy meets Bali...
It is a nice place to sit and even for lunch it's comfortable to eat
outside with the fresh sea breeze keeping the heat away.
In the evenings you can have a candlelight
dinner, while the lights in the big tree provide an extra
touch to the whole atmosphere.
I must warn you, once seated and when glancing at the menu you will
have a difficult time choosing what you want to order. The pasta's,
pizza's and foccacia sandwiches are all prepared with tasty
ingredients...
Anyway, whatever you choose it will be a big Italian feast....

Uptill now we have been to Ristorante Italia three times and for every dish we have ordered, the servings were huge.
On top of that, when having dinner here you get garlic bread on the house which is so much that you are pretty full before the first course even arrives.

At home my girlfriend still talks about her favorite gnocci dish...
Our favorites at this restaurant are the gnocci with tomato sauce, seafood pasta and the focaccia
sandwiches which are served on wooden plates.
The focaccias are baked in a real stone oven, just
like their pizza's. Again, I have to warn you, these servings are
massive.
My sister (here on the right side)totally agrees, as she was wondering
how she could ever finish this huge focaccia without bursting.....

Is she able to finish it...?
If you have some space left you can role over to their ice stand. Like
a real italian, there is a large selection of flavors to choose
from.
After living in Indonesia for a while, I didn't expect too much from
the ice cream. Somehow the ice cream in Indonesia misses the creamy
milky texture.
However, after one bite from the ice cream at this italian restaurant I
knew that the owner must
be an an real Italian. The ice cream was perfect. Try
the chocolate flavor and you won't be disappointed ...
