You can find Sanur Restaurants everywhere in town. You don't have to walk far to find a different place to eat every day on your holiday.
On Sanur Bali's main road, Jalan Tamblingan and along the walk path of the beach there are restaurants, cafes and bars serving delicious food and drinks from early in the morning till late in the evening.

Eat right on the Sanur beach...
The Sanur restaurants at the beach have taken the advantage of the pleasant sea breeze by creating terraces where people can eat and drink in de open air under large parasols.
Some Sanur restaurants have even set their tables right on the beach resulting in the most romantic place to have dinner while overlooking the sea.
We have been to many places along the beach and eating right on the beach with white sand between our toes makes Sanur Bali (and Jimbaran beach ;-) one of those unique places in Bali to have lunch or dinner.

One of our favorite places in Sanur to have breakfast or lunch
The Sanur restaurants along the street are also just as great as they have managed to create beautiful terraces under mature trees providing natural shading.
In the evening, when the candles are lit on the tables these trees give an extra special feeling to the whole atmosphere.
Sanur is one of the tourist places in Bali where beautiful upscale resorts are found along the beach and looking at the choice of restaurants, it seems like the quality and the prices are focused on a similar crowd.

A fruit juice stand that sells all types of juice mixes...
This has resulted in a large number of excellent restaurants for a small village like Sanur Bali.
There are Sanur restaurants that offer Western and Indonesian food in a modern setting while in other restaurants you can have mouthwatering dishes in a Balinese styled restaurant.
Warung Blanjong:
If you love 'nasi campur' then this is the place to be. Without a doubt the best nasi campur we have tasted on Bali.
Located in the south of Sanur on Jalan Danau Poso they also serve Westeren and Indonesian food. We will definitely be back for more.
Warung Blanjong also offers cooking classes.
Warung Pregina Cafe:
It is a must to taste real Balinese food when you visit Bali.
A good place to start is Warung Pregina located right on Jalan Tamblingan as this is one of the few Sanur restaurants that serve really tasty local food.
Pregina is great for just a drink too!
Made's Bar & Restaurant:
After many years this Balinese restaurant is still a favorite among travellers who are staying in Sanur.
Compared to other Sanur restaurants Made's has remained low key serving typical local dishes such as Nasi Goreng, Nasi Campur, Satay and Pepes Ikan at a reasonable price. So if you just feel like eating good Bali food head over to Made's on Jalan Danau Tamblingan.
Mona Lisa Restaurant:
This restaurant is located on Jalan Tamblingan 98 and serves both terrific Western and Indonesian dishes.
The restaurant looks small from the outside but once inside you will many candle lit tables. Their dishes are well presented and their specialty is a Swiss dish; pan fried veal or pork in creamy white wine sauce...
The Wicked Parrot:
In every little town or city in the world you seem to be able to find an Irish pub. The one in Sanur on Jln. Danau Tamblingan is popular for not only its food but also for their live music which is performed every night. The Bali Leprechauns play Irish music and is the favorite.
The menu is extensive with dishes such as pasta, pizza, Balinese, steak, grills and not to forget Irish Pub food. It may seem like a bar but there is great seating too.
Cinnamon Bar & Restaurant:
Besides focusing on the quality of the food more and more Sanur restaurants are focusing on their interior too.
At Cinnamon you can not only eat delicious food, especially their Seafood Basket and their Kebab is highly recommended but their tables and lounge seats are a great place to have a coffee and something else to drink too. For their delicious food, popularity and atmosphere their menu is very reasonably priced. (Location: Jln.Tamblingan)
The Porch Cafe (Flashback's Restaurant):
We ended up at this little inviting place by accident at we were passing Sanur very early in the morning. So we decided to have breakfast here.
Initially we were quite shocked of the prices but once breakfast was served we could tell that the additional flavors and ingredients made the difference. Patio is great for breakfast, coffee, high tea and of course a delicious piece of cake! (Location: Jln Tamblingan)
Cafe Batu Jimbar:
This Cafe is not hard to miss. With the red parasols on Jalan Danau Tamblingan it seems to be one of the most popular Sanur restaurants in town.
At dinner time it is packed and looks really great by candle light accompanied by live music and dancing...
Cafe Smorgas Sandwich Lounge:
This little sandwich cafe is perfectly located under two huge trees at Jalan Tamblingan.
Their tree shaded terrace is an ideal spot to start the day or just to relax from the afternoon heat.
Try their fresh juices, coffee and not to forget there delicious home made bread or lasagna...
Warung Coconut Tree:
Being one of the most popular Sanur Restaurants along Jln. Danau Tamblingan this tiny, colorful warung attracts a bigger crowd then it can handle. So be prepared to sit close together.
Cheap tasty food and drinks are served here while you can browse the internet for free or listen to some good live music on several nights in the week. Travellers on a budget will feel at home here ;-)
Manik Organik:
Feeling like something organic? At Jalan Tamblingan you can find Manik Organik hidden under a bush of trees.
Their salads are really good, just as their juices. There is a shop were you can buy organic products and refill your water bottle. If you are looking for organized gatherings such as workshops, yoga classes etc. then you can find info here too.
Putih Pino:
I can honestly say that this is probably one of the nicest decorated Sanur restaurants in town. The whole structure and interior seems to come straight from a designer magazine. It is welcoming with its colorful tiles, white washed furniture and homey counter.
We somehow always end up only having cake and coffee here. Especially the green tea cake is good. So definitely a good pit stop half way the afternoon. (Location: Jalan Karang Sari, next side street south of Bali Hyatt)
Gardenia Coffee shop:
We were so disappointed when our favorite 'Spirit' cafe at the beach was suddenly gone.
But when we were munching away at Gardenia we realized it has the same owner as the 'Spirit' cafe.
We immediately ordered our favorite: iced chocolate. Their menu lists a great choice of food, especially there breakfast is a good start of the day.
Luhtus Coffee Shop:
This is a wonderful place to have a quick bite or a delicious cake with your cup of coffee.
Their terrace is located right on the beach under a huge tree. Don't be surprised if you've been sitting here for a while without realizing.
Over the years the coffee shop has expanded and offers seating inside as well. (Location: Jalan Pantai Sindhu)
Mak Beng:
Mak Beng is a very famous place among the locals. It's only open for lunch and serves just one dish. When we were there they served super tasty fish soup with rice...
The place is packed every day, so to find a seat you just have to join the others on one of the tables.
A little bit of basic Indonesian conversation skills might come in handy when ordering..
Lilla Warung:
This Indonesian Warung is located on Jln. Bumi Ayu, a side street of Jln. Danau Tamblingan. Despite being located away from Sanur hotspots it can get pretty full for dinner here.
The good local dishes with an optional additonial of western touches plus their cheap prices are the main reason why it attracts a crowd. But the owner has added nice touches to the restaurant too making it a nice place to go back more then once.
Sanur Restaurants on the beach:
When in Sanur you should definitely try the restaurants with tables right on the beach.
In the south part of Sanur beach near Puri Santrian Hotel and Hotel Sanur beach there are a couple of restaurants next to each other. Their menu's are almost identical. So just take a seat anywhere and enjoy....
Other Sanur Restaurants on the beach:
A great place to sit back and enjoy lunch, dinner or a drink while wiggling your toes in the sand is in the northen part of Sanur beach.
There are three nice restaurants with comfortable seatings under shaded trees on the beach: Mango Beach bar & Restaurant, Benno Restaurant or Beach Cafe. You can find them on the left side of La Taverna when facing the ocean.
