Seminyak restaurants are known for serving high quality culinary treats. Mostly the owner or chef is a foreigner, so not surprisingly the menu is often western styled with occasionally a mixture of the Indonesian or Balinese cuisine.
There are a couple of Seminyak restaurants which are really well-known on the island and are often featured in glossy magazines about Bali. Every night people stand in line so they can experience top cuisine.
So as you may have expected; reservations are necessary, best a couple of nights in advance.

All kinds of restaurants in Seminyak Bali
In Seminyak the restaurants do not only aim at creating the most delicious dishes, but they focus also on decorating the place (something you won't always find in Bali ;-).
Therefore these Bali restaurants have their own character and special ambiance which attract all sorts of people.
The most famous Seminyak restaurants are all located on Jalan Oberoi. However on Jalan Petitinget, the road connected to Jalan Oberoi more restaurants have recently opened their doors.
So check out this street as well when you are looking for another great dinning venue.

Preparing a
fabulous dinner in one of the many Seminyak restaurants
The Livingroom is one of the popular Seminyak restaurants that serve Asian and Balinese cuisine. At night the candles light up the place and with its comfortable furniture it actually looks like a real living room.
Not far from the Living room you have the Hu'u. This is a totally different place as the restaurant transforms itself into a club during the night. Very popular among young people and expats.
Another place that is always packed with expats and tourists is de Ku De Ta. It's located right at Seminyak beach so during the day people flock here to be seen and to enjoy the atmosphere while working on their tan.
At night many parties are organized here. So check out their schedules when you are here.

Ku de Ta in the morning, before the crowd sets in...
La Luciola is also at the beach and when you are looking for a nice ambiance together with Italian food, than this is another popular option.
An other restaurant which opened in 2008 is Sarong at Jalan Petitinget. It serves food from all over the world in a amazingly beautifully decorated restaurant. Reviews have been great about this place, so definitely worth a try.
Our favorites Seminyak restaurants where we had a great time and where we enjoyed tantalizing dishes are:
Manneke
Pis:
We were surprised to see a Bistro named after the famous little
statue in Brussels. And once entering, we were actually in
Belgium.
The menu which includes real Belgium delights is superb, just as the ambiance. And while enjoying the food and Belgium beer you can drift away on their wide collection of Jazz and Blues...
Khaima
Bali:
If you are looking for a different taste then you must head to this
restaurant on Jalan Oberoi.
Just like its decoration, the authentic Moroccan taste will make you think you are in a real bazaar. Every Friday and Saturday there are belly dance performances, so order a shisha and lounge away in this Moroccan spectacle...
Zula
Restaurant:
This is the place to go if you are looking for
breakfast,
lunch or dinner that doesn't contain any traces of animal protein.
Even die-hard carnivores will find enough to choose from and won't miss their daily dose of meat. Their unique combinations of ingredients will have you experiment with new tastes in no time...
Local
Eats:
Right on the busy main street of Seminyak you can find the local
delight "Ocha". Here you can order Nasi Campur which is basically created
by yourself.
Just head over to their food display and choose from all the mouthwatering Indonesian dishes. Their garden is a great place to enjoy their Bali food...
