Little things make the difference at the Sofitel Seminyak Bali

The Sofitel Seminyak Bali, now called the Royal Beach Seminyak Bali is located right at the beach in the heart of this trendy village.

It is run by the Accor hotel group and it shows right upon arrival. Staff is all smiles and greetings while we were sipping the tropical welcome drink.

We were lucky and got upgraded to the Deluxe room which is huge especially the bed. The room also has a sofa, desk, mini-bar, satellite TV and balcony facing the garden. The bathroom is also very big and has a separate shower and a bath with another shower head. So enough choice with just the two of us.

Another great feature of the Deluxe room are the L'Occitane toiletries, slippers and bathrobe and throughout the resort we encountered these small details.

The Sofitel Seminyak Bali is a big place and we found out that is has 128 rooms, 17 spa villas, two swimming pools (one beach front and one garden pool), 4 restaurants and 2 bars.

At the popular beach front swimming pool there's the towel hut where we could even get free sun lotion and moisturizer, how cool!

Here you'll also find the Caprise Beachfront Bar & Restaurant and this is the place if you want to have some good diner while enjoying Bali's sunset. Try to get here early because the best places fill up quickly.

Just around the corner of the The Sofitel Seminyak Bali there are a couple of beach shacks were you can also enjoy the sunset. Also next to the hotel you can find a couple of restaurants, a launderette and many boutique shops for the ladies.

But our favorite place at the Sofitel Seminyak must be the other swimming pool which is located in the lush tropical garden. Here we hardly noticed anybody, so the perfect spot for us, very relaxed and we almost had the whole Garden Pool to ourselves.

Another great spot where we love to come back to is Cafe Restaurant Amreeta for breakfast. Their buffet breakfast is lavish with Asian and Western dishes and it has an outdoor terrace with fish ponds, a great place to start the day.

 

Mmmmmmmm.....

We can highly recommend staying at the Sofitel Seminyak Bali and we will definitely come back here. The location, huge rooms, friendly staff, excellent facilities make this a real value for money hotel.

Pro's: spacious comfortable rooms, bathroom, garden swimming pool, free sun lotion, staff, value for money

Cons: no WIFI in the room but in the lobby, black dirty beach sand but not really Sofitel's fault
