Feel the sea breeze at Spirit CafeThe Spirit cafe is one of our favorites because it is right on the beach and has the best ever iced chocolate in town... You can find this relaxing looking place right under a huge tree along the walk path next to the many other Sanur restaurants.
Besides the delicious drinks (their coffee is just as good as the iced chocolate) they have a huge food list ranging from hotdogs, pancakes to pizza, Aussie pies and Thai curry. Just take all the time you have for a long look at their menu and you will definitely find something that you just felt like eating. I once ordered a fresh tuna sandwich and banana pancake. The sandwich was on toasted bread and sounded pretty simple, but the taste was more than I expected. No canned tuna for me...! Besides meals you can also enjoy some homemade pie with your warm or cold drink or you can go for their lemon, banana or chocolate cake. Again...a hard choice to make.
The cafe also provides free wireless internet for those who have brought their laptop. A perfect place to email home (or work..?!?) while having a cold beer and trying all the different cakes that the café serves. In the evening the place is beautifully lit by candlelight and lanterns in the tree. On the beach they also have tables made out traditional jukung boats. A first class spot under the stars...
