TJs Restaurant a colorful place to have delicious Mexican food

TJs is one of my favourite restaurants in Kuta. If you walk down Poppies 1 you will not miss it...the outside wall of the restaurant is covered with big Mexican paintings.

This restaurant attracts a lot of people and is listed in almost every Balinese guidebook. And looking at the place I understand why.

Not only does the place look nice and colorful with its mixture of Balinese and Mexican decorations; the food is even better.

The food is prepared with home-made sauce giving it a unique taste. I can’t get enough of the Marrocan Tagine Wrap, filled with chunky tuna, nuts, cranberry and covered with super tasty sauce. It’s just too good!

And don’t forget the chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, cheese cake etc...It seems like most people here leave some space over for dessert…

The restaurant is open from morning till late in the evening. They also have a big breakfast menu offering omelette's with all kinds of fillings, delicious home made muesli topped with home-made yogurt and fruit and last but not least...American style pancakes.

They say that most people skip breakfast even though it is the most important meal of the day. Well, if I could have breakfast at TJ’s every day...

In the evening, and probably during the day as well the cocktail bar serves professional and colorful looking drinks...you might spot some regulars at the bar.

This Kuta restaurant has created a ideal place full with pillows and a low table where you can lounge and relax while sipping your cocktail.
