The numbers of villas in Candidasa and other East Bali villages might not be a large as Central and South Bali, but that doesn't mean that there isn't much to choose from.

When we were traveling through East Bali we are surprised to find great villas in Candidasa, one villa complex in Padangbai and a couple in Amed.

The villas we recommend here are ideal for travelers who want to discover more of what East Bali has to offer. Candidasa and Padangbai are a great starting point for hiking tours, cultural tours, diving and snorkeling.

While those in Amed are prefect for dive and snorkeling holidays, exploring the tip of East Bali and relaxing with a great view of the blue ocean.

Villas in Candidasa

Villa Gils:
Villa Gils is one of the biggest villas in Candidasa with two floors, 3- bedrooms, a huge private kitchen, classy living room, outdoor dining room, lounge gazebo and a massive private swimming pool only a stone-throw away from the sea.

I think this is the best value for money villa in East Bali. 24 hour staff is available to provide you with whatever you need...(US$385 p.n.)

Villa Sasoon:
It's is like candy to the eye. With their minimalist interior; wooden floors, an 8 meter high ceiling, marble kitchen, paintings, Balinese statues and private plunge pool.

Each villa has two separate pavilion bedrooms, ideal for couples, friends or families. The villa complex is located in Jalan Puri Bagus Candidasa, walking distance from town. (around US$217-US$300 p.n.)

Villa Pantai Bali:
This luxury private villa is a single villa not far from the center of Candidasa. It has two bedrooms and a total of 6 people can stay here.

The villa is big with modern touches, a great pool and a terrific view of the ocean. The staff is available 24h but will make sure they are unnoticed if you want ultimate privacy. Besides the ample space there are also spa facilities available for an extra sense of luxury...(around US$209 p.n.)

Villa in Padangbai

Bloo Lagoon:
Bloo Lagoon is a villa complex right on the cliffs of Padangbai.

However it isn't an ordinary villa complex as the owners have created Bloo Lagoon with a different aim in mind.

It doesn't only provide a place to enjoy your holiday, but it's also a place for mutual exchange of knowledge, skills and customs between international visitors and the local residents. (around US$116-US$270 p.n.)

Villas in Amed:

Onlyou Coral Garden Villas:
Unlike the villas in Candidasa the villas at Onlyou are not that luxurious. Nevertheless they do have the best views of the ocean. On top of that there is a kitchen available, a master bedroom on the top floor and a private small pool. The interior is a bit old fashioned but everything is clean and comfortable.

From the premises you can walk to the beach and even go snorkeling. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant prepares delicious Balinese dishes. Suites don't have a pool. (around US$58-US$610 p.n.)

 

Jepun Bali Villas:
This little luxury villa complex has only 4 villas which surround one big communal infinity pool. The villa has clean spacious rooms, a four post bed, an in- and out-door shower and a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view.

It is a bit more expensive then the surrounding accommodation but if you want to enjoy a bit of extra luxury then this is the place. Jepun Bali Villas is ideal if you are traveling with several couples or with many family members. You can rent all 4 villas and have the whole place to yourselves...(around US$161-US$188 p.n.)
