The numbers of villas in Candidasa and Padangbai might not be a large as Central and South Bali, but that doesn't mean that there isn't much to choose from.

When we were travelling through East Bali we are surprised to find great villas in Candidasa and one villa complex in Padangbai.

Three villas are located just outside Candidasa while one is just a couple of minutes by foot to the restaurants in town.

Villa Gils:
Villa Gils is one of the biggest villas in Candidasa with two floors, 3- bedrooms, a huge private kitchen, classy living room, outdoor dining room, lounge gazebo and a massive private swimming pool only a stone-throw away from the sea.

Villa Sasoon:
It's is like candy to the eye. With their minimalist interior; wooden floors, an 8 metre high ceiling, marble kitchen, paintings, Balinese statues and private plunge pool.

Each villa has two seperate pavilion bedrooms, ideal for couples, friends or families. The villa complex is located in Jalan Puri Bagus Candidasa, walking distance from town.

Bloo Lagoon:
Bloo Lagoon is a villa complex right on the cliffs of Padangbai.

However it isn't an ordinary villa complex as the owners have created Bloo Lagoon with a different aim in mind.

It doesn't only provide a place to enjoy your holiday, but it's also a place for mutual exchange of knowledge, skills and customs between international visitors and the local residents.
